WASHINGTON – The president of the United States, Donald Trump assured that he will “take control” of Cuba “almost immediately” and added that he will first finish the work in Iran, during his intervention as predominant speaker at a private dinner in West Palm Seaside, Florida.
Trump said he will take control over Cuba and added that by finishing “the job” in Iran could bring the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, the world’s largest, “closerstop about 100 meters from the coast and tell us: ‘Thank you very much, we give up.'”
The Republican’s intervention took place at a political and business dinner organized by the Discussion board Membershipa common meeting space in Florida between political leaders, businessmen and public figures, where Trump was mainly invited in a closed event with selected attendees.
This same week, the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio accused Cuba of facilitating the presence of intelligence services of “the adversaries” of the United States 90 miles from its territory and assured that the Administration of President Donald Trump will not tolerate it.
The Senate rejected this Tuesday a Democratic proposal to limit the possible military operations that Trump could order in Havana.
Since January, the Trump Administration has intensified pressure on Havana with an oil blockade and the president has suggested on several occasions the need for regime change on the island.
