Shakira is preparing for one of the biggest concerts of her career and has already packed her suitcase to travel to Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where thousands of people are waiting for her this May 2 to sing and jump to each of her hits.

It is estimated that around 2,000,000 people will attend the voluminous free event corresponding to the “Tomo Mundo no Rio” project, in which he is expected to present part of his staging with “Las muejeres ya no Llorn.” The Colombian will look for the perfect fusion between her new songs like “Choka, Choka” and those that never went out of fashion like “Loca” to make an audience as party-loving as the Cariocas tremble.

If Shakiera manages to gather that massive amount of spectators, we would be talking about a show that would join the legendary concerts of Rod Stewart (1994) and Madonna (2024)who registered an audience of 3.5 and 1.6 million attendees, respectively.

Through her social networks, the Colombian singer cHe shared some images while organizing his suitcase (or one of them) and showed everything she was including inside her, including a yellow and green bikini with the Brazilian flag on the front.

In addition to that, Shakira also packed a pair of flannels, some sandals, a fan, the shirt of the Amazonian country’s soccer team and, curiously, she also kept a small bag, which could serve as a cosmetic bag, but empty, arousing the intrigue of some followers.

Shakira publishes a letter prior to her concert in Copacabana

The Colombian recalled an episode that marked a before and after in her life just two days before her big show: “There is a question that has haunted me since the day I received the invitation, and I have had to travel many kilometers and many thoughts before being able to answer it. Why me. Why Copacabana. Why Rio de Janeiro. Why now. To answer it I have to go back, to a day when everything I had built collapsed at the same time. It was not a long process, there were no gradual signs, it was a single morning in which I woke up being another woman and with another life,” she wrote in a letter that was published in the newspaper O Globo.

That moment, as she says, forced her to maintain the routine without time to process what happened: “And the next day she had to get up the same way, making breakfast, taking the kids to school, answering the phone, running a career. From that morning until today I have had to completely reinvent myself. As a mother, as a provider, as an artist, as a woman.”

This is part of what the Colombian artist shared for women in the world, considering that they have no “truce” and that this is part of what makes them grow and empower themselves.
