Social Security payments from the supplemental income program already have dates set for May, and millions of beneficiaries in the United States will receive their money from the beginning of the month.
According to the Social Security Administration’s official calendar, Supplemental Income program deposits will be sent on Friday, May 1, 2026.
This type of payment is normally made on the first day of each month, except when it coincides with weekends or holidays, which may advance deposits.
In this case, May 1st falls on a Friday, so there will be no change to the date.
Furthermore, this delivery is part of a streak of four consecutive months in which payments have been made on time on the first day of the month.
