Cristiano Ronaldo scored the goal this Wednesday in Al Nassr’s victory against Al Ahli 2-0.

Al Nassr added its twentieth consecutive victory and came a little closer to winning the Saudi Arabia League title, which leads with seventy-nine points with four games remaining.

Ronaldo put Al Nassr to victory with a set piece

Ronaldo put Al Nassr ahead in the 76th minute thanks to a set piece. The Portuguese hit a header after a corner kick from Joao Félix.

With this goal, the Portuguese star scored goal number 970 of his sporting career and preferred his team to a gray match with little football against Al Ahli, third placed in the league and recently proclaimed champion of the Asian Champions League.

Already in the last minute of regulation time, the Parisian player Kingsley Coman, formerly of Bayern Munichscored the second with a shot from inside the area in a second play after another corner, closing what is Al Nassr’s twentieth consecutive victory, the sixteenth in a row in the domestic competition.

The team led by Portuguese Jorge Jesús thus strengthens its leadership in the Saudi league, in which it is first classified with seventy-nine points, eight ahead of Al-Hilal and thirteen ahead of Al Ahli, which is third.

What games do Al Nassr have left?

Al Nassr will face Al Qadsiah, team of Mexican Julián Quiñones, on the next date. Then they will face Al Shabab on May 7, a club that is in 12th place.

May 12 will be one of the most important matches with the duel against Al Hilal, a club that is in second place by eight points.

The season will end on May 12 against Damac, a team that is fighting to avoid relegation from the first division of Saudi Arabia.
