The Italian footballer, Gabriele Vaccarojust 25 years old, has been brutally murdered with a screwdriver in a parking lot in the city of Pavia, Italy.
According to what has emerged, the footballer who played for ASD Castrumfavara had a dispute over some pizzas.
The player and his friends returned to their car around 3:30 in the morning. Along the way, they would have crossed paths with five other young people who would have begun to make fun of them and demanded that they give them the pizzas they were carrying with them.
The situation ended in a strong fight between the two groups and with Gabriele stabbed in the abdomen with a screwdriver or another similar object, such as an awl. The author? allegedly a 17-year-old Egyptian boy who is already being investigated.

Mourning throughout the community
In Favara, the municipality of origin of Gabriele Vaccaro, the mayor declared mourning, and the ASD Castrum Favara, a football club where the young man played as a right back, also joined in the condolences through a message on his Facebook account.
“May Gabriele rest in peace. We are speechless, in disbelief, destroyed by pain. His murder that occurred last night in Pavia hits not only the family, but the entire community and the world of football. Gabriele, like the brothers Gerlando and Totò, was a player of ours in the ranks of Pro Favara”indicates the Italian club.
“We remember him, not only for his sporting skills, but for his education. This afternoon, as a sign of mourning, we suspend the ordinary musical entertainment with the DJ programmed in the “Bruccoleri” before the game and at halftime. To the Vaccaro family, the most sincere hug from CastrumFavara,” reads the ASD Castrum Favara statement.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for the murder of Gabriele Vaccaro and interrogated at the Cesare Beccaria Penal Institute for Minors.
