According to the Austrian media Kurier and Kronen Zeitung, the citizen who tried to carry out a sinister attack at Taylor’s concert in August 2024 pleaded guilty in his first hearing held this Tuesday. Beran A. is the name by which this man is known, whose full identity was not published due to internal privacy protection measures.

The event occurred exactly on August 7, 2024, when authorities obtained weapons to make explosives in an apartment in Vienna (Austria), the city where the American singer would perform for the first time the next day, which led to the cancellation of three concerts that were scheduled during those days.

According to the authorities’ investigations, the citizen planned to murder with a knife or explosives to all the people he could outside the Ernst Happel stadium, where the event would be, and although the final verdict has not been made public, he could face around 20 years in prison after being the only one involved in the Taylor case, although two other citizens planned simultaneous attacks in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the Arab Emirates.

Taylor Swift wants to patent her voice and image

In another vein, artificial intelligence continues to do its thing with all the tools it can bring with it. However, there are artists who do not agree with certain aspects that may be inconvenient for them and recently the case of Taylor Swift was announced, who sent a request to patent her voice and image.

The American singer wants to avoid misinformation that may be “related” to her and, therefore, asked the country’s Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to place her voice as a trademark. The artist sent two audio samples that begin with: “Hi, I’m Taylor,” which were used to announce her most recent album in October.

Why did Taylor Swift make this decision?

The “Shake It Off” singer seems fearful of the growing tendency to resort to imitations through artificial intelligence and the most recent viral event in which she was involved occurred in 2024, when she denounced the dissemination of a false image in which they stated that she supported the candidacy of the now president, Donald Trump.

After that fact and new experiences, in which she is not necessarily the protagonist, the singer decided to make this decision in order to avoid any type of inconvenience due to the misuse of AI in citizenship.
