A recording of Enrique Iglesias once again put his name at the center of digital debates. The singer published a short video on his networks with a fan during an event open to the public, and the scene immediately went viral.
The fan held up her phone to capture the moment when he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. The encounter took an unexpected turn the next second, when the woman turned her face and kissed him directly on the mouth. Enrique reciprocated for a few moments while holding her by the waist, until they both separated laughing. Along with the images, the artist wrote: “This one went crazy.”
Reactions found in networks
Although closeness with his followers has always been part of his hallmark, this time the scene took a different direction. Some users criticized the fan’s attitude for the way it invaded his private space, while others questioned whether he responded to the gesture instead of stopping it.
It didn’t take long for the comments to multiply due to surprise and criticism. Each person defended their position vehemently, which made it clear that the issue struck a chord with the interaction between artists and fans.

Another recent moment that gave something to talk about
The striking thing is that this episode occurred shortly after another moment captured in Mexico that also made noise on the networks. After a concert, The singer approached a police officer who was on duty, touched her shoulder and kissed her on the cheek.
The woman stood firm, looking straight ahead, and barely smiled. The gesture was commented on by many attendees and ended up adding to the debate that now surrounds the interpreter.
In both cases, the debates have revolved around the same point about the limit between affectionate closeness and awkwardness between artists and fans, especially when cameras, crowds and the spontaneity of the moment intervene.
