In the midst of recovering from a stress fracture in his foot, Jack Grealish was seen in a bar in Manchester (United Kingdom), where he was having drinks with his friends; but the party ended early when he fell asleep just minutes later.
According to the testimony of the newspaper The Sun, Grealish and his companions arrived around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Tales restaurant-bar, but the footballer fell asleep less than an hour later due to the effects of alcohol.
The English press report states that his friends tried to wake him up by shaking his body, but the attempts were useless, with some of those present stating that “the alcohol must have taken its toll.”
Despite arriving at Everton on loan from Manchester City at the start of the season, Grealish has been out of action since January due to the foot injury, which left him out of action for the remainder of the campaign and ruled out of England’s World Cup squad.
It is not the first time that Grealish has been seen in these conditions, in fact, his life as a “celebration boy” has been part of his image for several years now.
One of the most remembered moments were his celebrations after winning the Champions League with Manchester City in 2023, when he celebrated for three days straight of partying.
“People say ‘he likes to go out a lot, he likes to party’, and yes. I want to be able to enjoy and have fun, but there is a place and a time. I’ll be honest, I haven’t chosen the best times (to party). At City, sometimes I didn’t help myself (to earn a place in the team),” Grealish shared in an interview after his departure from Manchester City.
