The New York summer will once again have a Latin accent. He “LAMC” (Latin Various Music Conference) announced that this year he will return to SummerStage in Central Park with two free concerts that mix careers, new voices and influential radio DJs.
The 2026 edition, which will take place from July 28 to August 1, promises an intense week of music and professional meetings in the city.
Central Park nights with confirmed programming
The first appointment will be Wednesday July 29with Julieta Venegas, lasso and a DJ situation Anamaria SayreNPR host. The combination brings together a consolidated figure in Latin American music, a Venezuelan singer-songwriter with a growing number of followers, and a musical curator who has promoted artists from different regions from American public radio.
The stage is activated again on Saturday, August 1, this time with Trueno, Milo J and J Noathree names that have transformed their styles into their own spaces within rap and urban pop.
The night will feature a situation of Albina Cabrera, journalist and DJ at KEXPrecognized for its work promoting Latin American artists in the alternative scene. Both concerts will be free and open to anyone who wants to join.
A conference that brings together the entire industry
The “LAMC” is not limited to reveals. Like every year, thousands of musicians, journalists, producers, executives, entrepreneurs and creators from different areas will gather at the InterContinental Times Sq., the predominant venue for the meeting. Panels, special presentations, networking spaces and cultural activities complement the programming throughout the week.
Discounted registration is available for $199 until May 31. After that date, the cost at the door will be $299.
The importance of the LAMC within Latin music
Considered by many as the “Sundance of Latin music”the “LAMC” is one of the most influential gatherings for alternative genres. Its proposal has remained firm, offering a space for artists and professionals who work beyond the conventional, with programming that mixes creativity, industry and community.
Over the years, the conference has served as a meeting point for emerging projects and established figures.
It has also had the support of The Latin Recording Academya non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Latin music worldwide, known for producing the Latin GRAMMY Awards and for his educational work through the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation.
