According to the testimony shared on social networks, the referee Guido Córdoba, who has a career in professional refereeing and appointments as an assistant in the First National by the AFA, would have verbally attacked little Fabricio during a match played on the El Olimpo field, in the city of Concordia, in the province of Córdoba.

The situation came to light when the minor’s father recounted the deep anguish and crying crisis with which his son finished the game after receiving sarcastic comments about his physical condition.

Verbal aggression and response of the minor

According to the family’s story, the incident occurred in the middle of the game, when Córdoba allegedly launched offensive phrases such as “come on, come on, fat man, run” and “come on, there’s the ball” in a markedly sarcastic tone.

Despite his young age, Fabricio decided to face the situation on the playing field and told the judge that he did not like what he was saying, arguing that he had not disrespected him either as a referee or as a person.

Despite this mature response, the boy was left with a feeling of helplessness that turned into a sea of tears when he met his father on the side of the field once the match was over.

The García family has formally requested that both the Concordiense Football League and the La Bianca Social and Sports Club become aware of the case to initiate the corresponding investigations and adopt preventive measures.

The claim not only seeks a sanction for the referee involved, but also attempts to make visible the emotional damage that this type of attitude causes in children in the formative stage.
