The Central Command of the United States Armed Forces denied that one of its military ships had been attacked while trying to cross the Strait of Hormuzas the Iranian press had reported.
“No American ships have been hit. US forces continue to support Operation Project Freedom and the naval blockade of Iranian ports“, indicated on Network X the Central Command, in charge of military operations in the Middle East.

The Fars agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, previously reported an attack in which two missiles hit a US ship, citing local sources.
Fars assured that two missiles hit a US Navy ship near the port of Jaskon the southern flank of the Strait of Hormuz, forcing him to abandon his attempt to cross the strait.
Tasnim, an agency linked to the Revolutionary Guard, quoting a military source: “Iran is prepared for any scenario in the Strait of Hormuz. The first shots have already been fired.”
An informed military source told the Tasnim agency about the hostile actions of the United States in the Strait of Hormuz that Iran is fully prepared for any scenario. and that “Americans know that Iran will not allow intimidation of Trump or American forces.”
The president Donald Trump announced on Sunday the so-called ‘Project Freedom’ for the US Armed Forces to “guide” merchant ships through the Strait of Hormuzalthough that would not include a formal military escort of the ships.
The Republican president assured that any interference with the operation to allow the transit of ships trapped in the Persian Gulf due to the conflict “will be dealt with by force.”
