Ian Alves, former trendy secretary of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), was disqualified by the Adjudicatory Body of the independent Ethics Commission of FIFAto carry out any kind of activity related to football for five years.

Strict FIFA position
FIFA added in a statement that “maintains a strict stance of opposition to all types of abuses in football” and? “The Ethics Commission treats all cases in accordance with the Code of Ethics, and approaches each of them with the uniqueness it deserves”.
