Mexican regional music singer Christian Nodal was forced to postpone his concert initially scheduled for Friday, May 1, at the Gran Enviornment in Chile because his group could not arrive on time and the blame fell on his father’s logistics company.
The Aztec has been touring several countries since 2024 with the “Pa’l Cora Tour” and this weekend the stop was in Chile; although in its first performance it could not meet the public and had to change the date to this Sunday, May 3.
Christian Nodal explains the reasons for the date change
Nodal made the announcement hours before his expected presentation, this because he waited until the last minute to see if the musicians were likely to arrive on time, something that evidently did not happen.
“My people from Santiago de Chile, I am very sorry to be in this situation, it makes me very sad, it makes me very angry, the musicians did not reach me,” he commented in a video shared on social networks.
Among the following statements he made, he clarified that it was a climate problem in Mexico and at the same time, he also mentioned problems with logistics, when the company in charge of everything related to that aspect is his father’s.
The Mexican author of hits like “La Intention” and “Adiós Amor” had to change the date of his presentation to this Sunday, May 3, so as not to leave his fans in a bad light.
“Very sorry, It got out of my hands, it got out of my control. I’ll wait for you on Sunday,” he reiterated. “This has been known since three in the morning, I just found out an hour ago,” he also lamented, with an expression in which he could not hide his displeasure with what had happened.
