Various streets in New York City will remain closed on Sunday for the Cinco de Mayo parade and the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour, events that will affect mobility in different parts of the city.
Closings were already reported in Midtown New York on Saturday due to the 54th Annual Cannabis Parade. The formation began on West 32nd Street, between Sixth Avenue and Broadway, progressed down Broadway to East 18th Street and ended in the vicinity of Union Square West, according to the New York City Department of Transportation cited by PIX 11.
For Sunday, in Upper New York, the following streets will be closed for the Cinco de Mayo parade:
- Parade formation: 106th Street, between New York Avenue and Central Park West.
- Route: Central Park West from 106th Street to 97th Street.
- End: 97th Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.
Likewise, the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour will cause closures on different roads in the five boroughs of New York. Streets affected on Sunday include:

- Trinity Plan between Morris Avenue and Liberty Avenue.
- Church Street between Liberty Avenue and Canal Avenue.
- Chambers Street between Broadway and West Avenue.

- Canal Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue.
- Sixth Avenue between Franklin Street and West 59th Street.
- West 59th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue.
- Massive Navy Plaza between West 59th Avenue and East Drive.
- East Drive between Massive Navy Plaza and Center Drive.
- Center Drive between 5th Avenue and East Drive.
- East Drive between Center Drive and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard.

- Third Avenue between 138th Street and the 3rd Avenue Bridge.

- Queens Plaza South between 21st Street and Vernon Boulevard / Alternate Route.
- 21st Street between 43rd Avenue and Queens Plaza South.
- 21st Street between Queens Plaza South and Hoyt Avenue North.
- Hoyt Avenue North between 21st Street and 19th Street.
- 19th Street between Hoyt Avenue North and Ditmars Boulevard.
- Ditmars Boulevard between 19th Street and Shore Boulevard.
- Shore Boulevard between Ditmars Boulevard and Astoria Park South.
- Astoria Park South between Shore Boulevard and 14th Street.
