This week, Ariana Grande has confirmed the release of her new albumwhich has been titled “Petal” and will be released on July 31. This would become her eighth album and comes after the great success she has obtained as an actress by starring in the film adaptation of “Unfortunate” (2024).

Grande has created this album together with the Swedish-Persian producer Ilyathis duo repeats itself, since they also co-wrote and co-produced a part of “Eternal Sunshine” (2024), the last album that the singer has published.

For now, the same singer has taken it upon herself to describe this new album as “something full of life that grows through the cracks of something cold, hard and challenging.” He started promoting this release a long time agoand has even shared videos in which he is seen working in the recording studio.

This release has also generated a lot of uncertainty due to statements made by Grande recently. In statements shared on Amy Poehler’s “Factual Hold” podcast, the singer and actress said: “I don’t want to say anything definitive. I know I’m really excited to do this little tour, but I think it may not happen again for a long time.. I’m going to give it my all and it’s going to be beautiful. I think that’s why I do it, because I think, ‘One last great moment!'”

With these statements she has made it clear that her next tour could mark the closing of her generation of concerts, although she did not talk about the release of new music, if she will continue doing so or if she will also take time to focus on projects as an actress.

Before making the announcement of the release of “Petal,” Grande had announced “The Eternal Sunshine Tour.” This tour is named after the album released in 2024, which did not have the opportunity to tour; However, the dates of the shows will coincide with the arrival of new music on the platforms.

“The Eternal Sunshine Tour” will begin this June 6 in OaklandCalifornia, and, for now, the closing of the tour is scheduled to take place on September 1 in London, England, a city in which a total of 10 shows have been announced.

For now, no dates have been announced in Latin America and it has not been confirmed that they will be announced.

It must be remembered that “The Eternal Sunshine Tour” is Grande’s first tour in seven years, since her last big tour was in 2019 and was titled “Sweetener World Tour.”
